Statement
I am concerned with creating situations, through video and sound-scapes, in which one can relate to physically and emotionally, either through own experiences or more common reference points such as film, local and world events. I am interested in narratives of nature and themes that explore the private and domestic dramas. Exaggerated, built narratives and structured lies, dominate the projects I choose to work with. I often explore how a real life experiences acquire many versions when re-told and the dramatic or the less dramatic elements become significantly dramatised within ones own mind. I believe the mind often becomes a stage for melodramatic embroidery and room for drama.
